The Women in Business International Forum in London, to be held between December 5-7th will feature key note speakers from government and business.
Confirmed Speakers include, HE dr Klara Dobrev the first lady of Hungary, Dr Massouma Al Mubarak, Kuwaiti Minister of Planning and Administrative Development, Dr Jowam Masum, Iraqi Deputy Minister of Communications and HRH Princess Lulwa Al Faisal of Saudi Arabia.
The Forum will also play host to the Annual Women in Business -UKTI and BEXA achievement award to recognise women in international trade. UK Trade and Industry Secretary Alan Johnson stressed that, ‘The Government has put in place a clear strategy to encourage diversity at the top of the workplace and though the signe are encouraging there is still progress to be made. We must all continue to strive to ensure that talent from all backgrounds is properly recognised.
“An award like this will help raise the profile of the important contribution women are making in UK industry and hopefully inspire a new generation of young women entering the workplace to go to the very top. I encourage all business women acheivers to put their name forward as they can be important role models.”

More than three hundred businesswomen will gather for the annual event to discuss, debate and be informed on business trends an opportunities. Some of the topics that will be covered include specialist panels on the challenges facing the oil industry, media and the creative industries, retailing and the consumer- the art of selling and mentors for successful business. In addition the forum will consider the role of education in the development and empowerment of women, and case studies for promoting women in the economy.
The event, is organised by Women in Business International (WiB), with the support of UK Trade and Investment, Welsh Trade International and The Commonwealth Businesswomen’s Council and the Arab British Chamber of Commerce
According to founder of Women In Business International, Ahmed Suleiman MBE, “The forum provides a platform for businesswomen to exchange views, experiences, expertise, knowledge and for promotion of bi-lateral business opportunities between all the participants whether on an individual basis or country specific. The interest that we have received from those wishing to speak and attend the Forum has exceeded all our expectations.
The forum will attract businesswomen delegates from at least 20 Countries, including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, Bahrain, Iran, Pakistan, South Africa, UK, USA and Europe.
